Description:
Shakespeare’s Avon Way follows the course of the River Avon from its source at Naseby to its confluence with the River Severn at Tewkesbury. For this first leg we will be walking from Tewkesbury Abbey to Pershore, following the banks of the Avon to the village of Twyning before heading inland towards Great Comberton. Bredon Hill is an ever-present landmark throughout the day.
