Description:
We will be met by Richard Smith, Farms Director of Daylesford Organic Farms, who will tell us a little about Daylesford’s small beginnings to what it is today. We will then set off on our walk, stopping by for a sheepdog demonstration before following the Evenlode, a tributary of the River Thames, passing through the village of Bledington and on to Kingham for a lunch break. From here, a gentle incline will take us via Cornwell to near the top of Whitequarry Hill with its far-reaching views across Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. Our return route leads us through the Daylesford Estate.
