Description:

The village of Kemerton lies on the southern edge of Bredon Hill, which we will climb, along narrow lanes and through fields and wooded paths on a gentle but steady incline. From Bredon Hill we will survey the surrounding Vale of Evesham and have views of both the Malverns and the Cotwolds. This walk is in conjunction with Evesham Festival of Words. Max Hunt, Secretary of the Housman Society, will accompany us on the walk and give readings from A. E. Housman’s A Shropshire Lad including, of course, ‘Bredon Hill’.
